There is a flame that is in my heart that has been sheltered in a bubble for 6 months. Now i'm out in the open and exposed to the elements. I refuse to be snuffed out. Treading through a mine field of water bombs, i am determined to make it through alive and not only that, i want to come out on the other side a blazing bonfire! There is more to life than just getting by, floating along, sitting pretty, aimlessly wandering etc. There is a purpose and I am pursuing it to the end. I am not going to wait for it to knock on my door, or whisper in my ear. I'm all about getting out in the city streets, hollering, day and night. I am on a mission to find the one my heart loves. Nothing else satisfies. Staying under my cozy little covers ain't gonna cut it. I refuse to be a little red coal inside a fireplace with a little screen around it. Those without vision parish. Surrounded by the wanderers of this world, I press on toward the goal to win the prize of which calls me heavenward.....
Seek first his kingdom...

The unknown, untapped, irresistable future....
Well, I have graduated, yet again. Today, I look back on the past 6 months at the Fire in the Night internship, with a thankful heart. There is a song that one of the musicians sings here, and a phrase in it says "I finally found where I belong...". I apply that to my heart. I have long since come to terms with the fact that my home is not a place on a map. I have experienced in my heart in the last few months, my home really is at the feet of Jesus. There is no other place I'd rather be, or where I would feel more at peace or at "home". So, when asked the dreaded question that every "mk" hates to answer, "where are you from?", I may not say it out loud, but inside I know where I came from, where I am and where I am going all point to God. God isn't a place, he is my home, he is where I belong. Ok, tempted to start preachin' but will keep it down to the minimal :)I have so many things I could ramble on to try to describe what I feel inside, what I have learned etc. but I leave you with this: I am determined to pursue a life of loving when I don't feel like it, listening when I want to be heard, giving when I don't have and when I need, speaking up when I am scared to death, trying one more time after the billionth rejection, keeping silent when I want to make myself noticed, sitting still and waiting when I want to run around and make things happen, trust when I want to earn my way,... -bottom line, I want to be like the greatest man who ever walked the earth, the man that steps down from the highest throne and bows to serve me in love. I want to pursue the one who relentlessly pursues my heart. I want to get to know and become like my friend and savior Jesus. I haven't a clue what lies ahead or how I will get to wherever the "unknown" takes me, but I am leaning, and trusting and though I don't know the future, I know I am in good hands :)

Give, give, give, give...etc.....
Guies, God is so faithful! He is so good and he hears every whisper from my heart. Update on my house. I thought I was going to lose it and have it foreclosed on a few weeks ago. Wasn't able to pay Jan or Feb on house payment. I have felt in my heart that the Lord has already said yes, for several weeks now. I still have inquired of him and asked for him to provide, none-the-less. There have been so many little confirmations in many different ways, and a few days ago, God opened a crack in heaven and gave me a glimpse of what is in store for my future. I was reading and praying Malachi 3:10-12 in the Prayer room the other night. I was agreeing with his word and asked him to put me on someones heart that night or the next day. I told him I would be looking for it and expectantly believing. Got into singing and about 20 min after my 2 min prayer, a girl tapped me on my shoulder. I barely know her, she is from the internship in track 1. I opened my eyes and she handed me a note that said, "Be Blessed". I slowly opened it up thinking, maybe some gas money or something. $1,000.00 check!!!!! I was shocked and humbled and ran her down and mouthed "are you sure?!!" (we aren't supposed to talk in Prayer room midnight-6am). She said yes, and I strangled her with several hugs. Weak arms and legs, fast heartbeat and aching cheeks (from smiling) I thanked God.

Global Minded
Hello,
writing from the IHOP coffee shop computers, "Higher Grounds". got up at 2pm today, which is good for me now but last track (sept-dec '07), it would have been way early. still wouldn't want to get up any earlier. stayed up till 8am last night, which is late:) i know, to all you day people ("normal ones") this probably sounds a bit backwards. yesterday i missed a good message at FCF (forrunner christian fellowship- our sunday service). i was in the middle of helping out in cec (childrens equiping center). so instead of an inspiring worship set with Eddie James and crew, a sobering message by Mike Bickle, i was running around trying to disciple 3-7 year olds.
i plan on getting a cd of the service, but in the mean time i have some notes. last night my friend passed there notes to me. wow. Jesus is coming back, like soon. i love missionaries, their kids and different cultures and countries soooooo much! being an mk myself (missionary kid), i can identify with them for sure. last night after a informative hour with Stuart Greeves and Sada Rogers from 3am -4am on the Harp and Bowl model, i had a good 2 hours to be seriously impacted with the near future of life as we know it.
didn't know what to pray or say exactly, just senced a heavy, soberness about how we need to pray for mission organizations, missionaries, geographical areas and for Israel and Jerusalem. i have so many missionary friends and contacts with mission organizations all over the world. i will be specifically be praying for Papua New Guinea, Romania, World Gospel Mission, Friendship International, Compassion International (i have a child from Tanzania - Winie Juma) and a forever long list of missionaries and mk's that i know. i know that 6 -10 hours in the prayer room seems like it is enough to pray for every thing, but it's not. friends, we need to pray, we need to know God. the world needs Jesus,
blessings,
your friend in the night,

Reckless Abandoned
a little sobered at the moment. Jesus is coming back. it won't matter what money i have, car i drive, whether my makeup is on, if i have tons of friends, in debt or if i have the perfect job. won't matter if i know everything there is to know, the question will be "Do i know Jesus, and does he know me?" do i know His voice? when there are people left and right speaking in His name, but have deception in their hearts, will i be able to discern that or will i be decieved? it's time we get to know God. "Seek the Lord while He may be found", right now while it's easy. people get ready, Jesus is coming.
