June 29, 2011 through July 26, 2011 Exodus Cry will be sending a team to Eastern Europe to do anti-trafficking work.
Our first destination is Poland where it is known as the premier purchasing location of the sex industry. The "merchandise" is considered to be high-end and of the best quality.
Our second destination is Odessa, Ukraine, which has been ranked as a major port for human trafficking. The cultural dignity of women has been so degraded there, that they have been given another name. Catagorized as Natasha's, the market demand for Ukrainian women has stripped them of their personal identity.
The last stop is Moldova where statistics say that 10% of the Moldovan population has been trafficked as these women are considered beautiful and easily accessible.
In the fight against human trafficking, 80% is prevention work. Throughout the month, our team will be ministering to churches, working with anti-trafficking non-government organizations, organizing local outreaches, talking about purity at an Israeli youth camp and speaking in orphanages where the children are at high-risk.
Please pray for our team as we continue to combat trafficking all over the world.
