In the very near future things are going to be changing for me. Starting with Brazil in October. I know that I am going to be changed forever! I have seen women in desperate situations, and I have met some broken-hearted men as well... But I have yet to look into the eyes of a child that is selling themselves for sex just to get some money for food.
I am going to be changed. Every penny that has been sown into this trip is going to reap rewards. No doubt about it. Every person that gave for this trip is going down in the record books of history in heaven. If you are in Jesus, great is your inheritance in what you give towards.
Do you want to be blessed and do you want treasure in heaven? Treasures in heaven aren't going to be a let down, I guarantee! God loves a cheerful giver and God loves the poor. God is near the afflicted, oppressed, broken, weak and the lowly of heart.
If you want in on an eternal investment, give towards the poor, needy, orphan and widow. Most important, Give to ministries that are Jesus Justice people. Without Jesus there is NO justice. Let Him be the center, let Him be the focus and watch Him deliver the oppressed who cry out "Abba Father!"
The poor and oppressed need to be healed, saved and delivered. My prayer is this that the Father of Glory would fill them with a Spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of God that the eyes of their understanding would be enlightened that they would know the hope of their calling. And that they would be filled with all the fullness of God in Christ Jesus. ` Ephesians 1:17-19

August 15th deadline coming up! I need $1,500 to buy my ticket for Brazil Trip in 16 days :)
I don't know how it's gonna happen, I never do on these trips. Every mission trip I go on, I come face to face with my weakness, bareness, & dependence on God.
Without God & His people giving & pouring into my life, I would be a much differerent person today. I am not the same girl that I was 5 years ago.
South Africa 2010 ~ I embraced women crying for freedom , I observed toddlers entertaining adult male tourists by posing with them in pictures and holding the money given to them, I stayed up all night outside of the brothels of Rosettenville, laid hands on a man in shock from a gunshot wound at a BP station at 3 in the morning, Got chased by angry pimps at 6 in the morning on our way home for the night, stayed in rat infested lodge for the night in one of the worst and most dangerous neighborhoods of SA...
Poland & Ukraine 2011~ Talked to a film student about why he was handing out flyers of nude women, got led through a restaurant kitchen to the back door leading up to the door of a brothel, met some amazing nuns who care for rescued women and their children, I saw their faces, and we heard some of their stories, We visited an Aids hospital, worshiped on the Odessa Port and prayed for the women, We visited orphans and those who care for them....
And next is Brazil... there are children on the streets of Fortaleza and Recife being prostituted... the age of consent is 14yrs old... there are girls younger than that on the street. We will visit some of them that have been rescued, and we will visit even more who are still on the streets of Brazil....
I can't go without your help and I won't go without the Lord's blessing. I believe He has said YES. Now remains the question, "who will join me?" You have an inheritance in the things you sow into.
I invite you to join in the blessings that I know God will pour out from this trip. No matter how much or how little you are able to give, it counts and it matters!!! Please contact me if you are willing to give financially, or if you want to be a prayer partner!! :)

Brazil Fall
2012 Mission Trip

Our team will be traveling to Northeast Brazil this fall as part
of an ongoing outreach to a nation greatly affected by the global commercial
sex industry. With the upcoming FIFA
World Cup in 2014 and Rio Olympics in 2016, Brazil is set to receive a heavy
boost to an already booming illegal industry. With an estimated 250,000
children in prostitution within the naturally beautiful nation, Brazil has
become a top destination for sex tourism.
The Northeast is the center of this activity with its beautiful beaches
and close proximity to Europe. Direct flights from Italy, Spain, and Portugal,
to name a few, daily fly in and out delivering sex tourists to a burgeoning
supply of innocence.
Our team will be partnering with Iris Ministries in Fortaleza to
strengthen the foundation of prayer they have established in the worst slum in
the city. This favela is a breeding
ground for drug addiction and prostitution and many children have lost their
parents to these lifestyles and find themselves vulnerable to the same fate
through traffickers that quickly prey on their vulnerability. We will be daily
praying with the Iris team and doing outreach into local areas where
prostitution and trafficking occur.
In Recife we will be joining Shores of Grace Ministries who have
recently opened a safehouse for children who have been exploited and
trafficked. Our team will be serving the Shores of Grace team, praying with
them and doing outreach to children on the streets and prostituted women in
exploitation.
These two ministries are doing significant work in their cities
to not only rescue the oppressed but to shift the atmosphere through prayer and
worship. It’s an honor and a privilege
to partner with these marvelous comrades to see an end to this trade in even
one person’s life and to pray for the return of the One who will end injustice
for all.

Visas: North Americans traveling to Brazil must apply
with the Brazilian Consulate for a tourist visa. This visa costs $100 (not
included in overall trip total cost) and is valid for multiple entry for five
years, for a stay of up to 90 days each time.
Visa can only be applied for once
individual has booked airfare. Each team member will be responsible for
acquiring their own visa.
